Secret House
Intro:
Construction of this safe, comfortable, accessible “forever home” was complicated by its position. The house straddles a double block, and although it is built over three levels, the family living areas and bedrooms are all contained on the ground level. Upstairs is an office/studio and guest bedroom with ensuite, and below ground is the basement/home theatre which features a window that looks into the swimming pool. The interior boasts heated, polished concrete floors, giving a modern industrial look that is perfectly complimented by the use of spotted gum throughout. The use of quality finishes throughout has created a timeless, elegant home that still has a light-hearted, family-friendly feel.
